Speaker Driver and Amplifier Repairs

 We can repair old drivers whether the surround has disintegrated or the voice coil has blown or become unstuck, we can repair these drivers to their original quality.  If you are not Auckland based you can simply courier your damaged drivers to us for repair.  If you would like a quote, give us a call.

Mod Shop

Using your existing speaker boxes and drivers we will be able to offer a number of upgrades.

• The major upgrade would be to rebuild the Crossovers using High Purity 1mm Copper Oxygen-Free Chokes.

Consisting of Studio-Grade Polypropylene Capacitors, a diffraction Circuit, High Frequency Noise Filter, Point-To-Point Wiring and Phase Matching. (The kind of crossovers only found in 4 figure costing speakers!)

As more minor upgrades we can...

• Re-Stuff your box using correct Stuffing Technique and amount of Stuffing;
• Re-Wire you speakers using High Quality braided cable for less signal loss and RF rejection;
• Where possible adding bracing to your existing enclosure reducing unwanted box resonance;
• Where necessary, re-tune length of port for more even and lower bass response for corner of room placement;
• Where necessary, replace poor performing bass drivers and tweeters.

Custom Shop

As well as offering a comprehensive range of studio grade speakers, we also offer a custom build option.

If the speaker you require is not within our range, we are able to offer the service of custom build unique speakers.

This is to say we can custom design and build one-off speakers to any requirement. If you require large and loud 18" speakers, if you just need speaker to fit in an unusual space or if you just want your speakers having a more arty look and feel... We will accommodate your requirements!

If you have got a beautifully finished pair of speaker that matches all your furniture or you just can't bare to be parted from that have deteriorated over the years... Maybe the company is unfortunately no longer around and the drivers are no longer available, maybe your toddler has just put his or her fingers through the Tweeters... Or maybe your dog has just chewed the Bass driver... Don't despair!

Based on the size and type of speaker enclosure we will source new drivers with perfectly matching parameters. We will also enhance the Crossovers if needed leaving your speakers sounding as good or even better than before!
